Commercial Mediation Experience
Co-Mediator of the first dispute to go to mediation from the Commercial Court (July 2005). This involved two property developers and assets in excess of €10 million in value and was successfully resolved within 3 weeks. Assistant Mediator in a large family business dispute involving property and other issues. Extensive experience as advisor in commercial mediations involving a variety of matters, including breach of contract, professional negligence, debt claims, shareholder oppression, construction and insurance.

Work History
Joined Fishburns as a Partner in 2009, from A&L Goodbody where she had trained. Specialises in professional negligence dispute defence (in relation to the full range of professions, including solicitors, accountants, architects, engineers and brokers), financial and regulatory advisory work, insurance, reinsurance and product liability. Advises various clients in relation to investigations by the Irish Financial Regulator, the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement, professional regulatory bodies and various International regulators (including the FSA, SEC, APRA and BaFin). Employment law disputes, partnership disputes, directors' liability, commercial agency issues, property disputes, contractual disputes, judicial review and has also acted for a number of high profile international media clients. Lectures regularly in Ireland and internationally on various legal issues, including most recently on Commercial Litigation and on Product Liability for the Law Society and on Discovery for the Law Society's Commercial Litigation Diploma.
